Legora turns Aaron Judge’s focus into a product benefit

The tactics behind ‘Focus Where It Matters Most' and the question that could have got you there.
Legora turns Aaron Judge’s focus into a product benefit

Legora · NoA Åkestam Holst · United States · September 2026

Aaron Judge is famous for hitting baseballs a very long way. But Legora is interested in something slightly less obvious: his ability to ignore everything else. Focus Where It Matters Most turns Judge’s concentration at the plate into a metaphor for Legora’s legal AI platform — stripping away repetitive research, administration and noise so lawyers can spend more time on the judgement and expertise that actually matters.

The Challenge

Legal AI can be useful, yet still remarkably difficult to advertise.

Research gets faster. Repetitive work gets reduced. Complex information becomes easier to navigate. All valuable benefits, but also the sort of things that quickly turn into diagrams, dashboards and demonstrations of software doing software things.

Legora also partnered with Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees.

The challenge was to make Judge mean something for the product, rather than simply putting a famous baseball player in an AI campaign.

The Strategy

Look beyond what Judge is famous for doing and find the quality that allows him to do it.

At the plate, elite performance depends on filtering out almost everything: the crowd, the noise, the pressure, the previous pitch, and what happens next.

What matters is the ball coming towards you now.

That creates a neat parallel with Legora. The platform handles more of the repetitive research, information, and background complexity so lawyers can focus on the work where their own judgement matters most.

Judge isn’t simply endorsing the proposition.

He embodies it.

The Execution

The campaign places Judge at the plate and gradually removes the distractions around him.

The visual language comes from baseball’s strike zone. As the film progresses, the frame increasingly focuses attention on what matters, stripping away everything beyond it.

The device allows Legora to make an invisible software benefit visible without showing much software at all.

Judge supplies the human metaphor. The strike zone gives it a visual system. Legora gives both a reason to exist in the same campaign.

The result is a B2B technology story told almost entirely through baseball.

Campaigns That Use Similar Tactics

Celebrity Metaphors → Cast the Celebrity as the Benefit

The World’s Fastest Band — StarHub, 2019

StarHub assembled Guinness record-breaking “fast” celebrities to make its network speed tangible. Their fame wasn’t the point; the quality they were famous for was. Legora uses Aaron Judge in exactly the same way. His concentration at the plate becomes a human shorthand for the focus Legora promises lawyers.

The Man Behind the Man — Legora

Legora previously used golfer Ludvig Åberg and his caddie Joe Skovron to make another aspect of its product easier to understand. The relationship between player and trusted support became a way to talk about AI working behind a professional without replacing the professional.

Media Benefit Metaphors → Make the Medium Perform the Benefit

Unlock — Apple, 2018

Apple exaggerated Face ID into something approaching a superpower, showing a girl unlocking lockers, rooms and vending machines simply by looking at them. Instead of explaining convenience, the execution lets the audience experience an exaggerated version of it. Legora similarly turns the abstract promise of focus into something visible.
